Studio C Salon began with an answered prayer on May 3, 2006. Studio C offers outstanding beauty experiences along with a positive atmosphere that everyone can appreciate. Cortney Patton and her strong team of hair experience specialists have continued to allow this dream to become a reality. Studio C has shown steadfast support of many positive community associations such as St. Jude, Rise, T-Town PAWS, Breast Cancer Awareness and soon to be a proud supporter of Eagles Wings, INC. The Story of Studio C Salon

"All things are possible." Studio C Salon owner, Cortney Patton

After 7 fruitful years of working with the truly talented and respected professional, Kim Carruth, Cortney Patton followed her heart and with her mentor's blessing, jumped into her future with both feet and established Studio C Salon on May 3, 2006. When the doors opened that Spring day Cortney was the only stylist at Studio C Salon but she had faith that a team of like-minded genuine people would come together at the right time. She believed that Studio C was where she was supposed to be and that God would fulfill his plan for her and for the salon. Today Studio C Salon has the strong team of caring professionals Cortney believed would come together.

Cortney Patton finds great inspiration from her past experiences and shares that inspiration through the Studio C Tree. Cortney explains how the Studio C team stays focused on the things that matter most with help from the Studio C Tree, “The Studio C Tree symbolizes new growth and life. When I see a tree it makes me realize you can overcome things in life that you may have never imagined possible. All things are possible.”

Establishing a beauty salon in her hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, has given Cortney Patton and her team a faithful launching pad from which their prayers, hopes and dreams are being realized and answered. The sky is the limit for this salon’s journey so get on board! Studio C has permanent place for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital when it comes to raising support and awareness.

The Studio C Salon team has joined thousands of other supporters nationwide to make a difference in the lives of St. Jude’s patients. As one of the leading centers for research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases, St. Jude provides medical help to ill children and steadfast support to their families. Studio C hopes that every promotion and benefit they do in support of St. Jude truly helps the hospital's seriously ill children to recover and eventually enjoy many happy healthy years to come.

RISE School Tuscaloosa can count on Studio C Salon’s Support!

Studio C Salon is a proud supporting business of The University of Alabama’s Rise School, a program designed to help babies, toddlers, and pre-school/kindergarten children that have physical disabilities. Studio C Salon participates frequently in fundraisers that benefit RISE with proceeds from Cut-a-Thons and other donations. The staff at Studio C Salon has more than ‘the eye’ for great style…they have a big heart and prove it when they help special-needs children prepare for the next step in their lives.

T-Town Paws has loyal friends at Studio C Salon!

Studio C Salon stays true to their mission of showing support for the community it desires to serve by being a loyal supporter of T-Town Paws, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting animal safety and wellness. Studio C Salon’s staff donates not only funds but also their time and talents to increase awareness of and patronage for the T-Town Paws among the Tuscaloosa community. Studio C Salon’s staff members have been involved in many things to promote awareness for T-Town Paws around the community by participating in the silent auction and hairstyling competition at the annual HairBall T-Town Paws benefit event.

Studio C is a strong supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness

Studio C Salon in Tuscaloosa, AL continues to help in the fight against Breast Cancer through their many Breast Cancer Awareness promotions and benefits. The salon and their client-guests in Tuscaloosa, Northport, and the surrounding west Alabama areas regularly participate in charity events from which the proceeds go to the Susan G. Studio C and Eagles Wings support adults with disabilities

Eagles’ Wings, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that strives to provide a wide array of services to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and vocational needs of adults with mild, moderate and severe intellectual and physical disabilities, including those who are medically fragile. Studio C is honored to help Eagles Wings achieve its primary objective which is to provide a respectful, secure, nurturing and structured environment which maximizes potential for independence, productivity and integration with the surrounding community all the while being centered on each individual's happiness. Studio C supports the building of a vocational center and residential community that can serve adults with developmental disabilities into the future.
